Osprey Backpacks - 30L is good for day hikes. We also have 50-60L packs for backpacking, though haven't used them since having Jordan. One day soon...

Osprey Water Reservoirs - Keeps us drinking more, but downside is that you can't see how much is left so you run the risk of running out early. You can bring a spare small water bottle as backup.

Black Diamond Hiking Poles - We got the Z foldable ones some years ago and they have been great. We originally got them to toss in our checked bags and use internationally, but covid hit and that never happened. They are great to toss into backpacks if we aren't using them for parts of hikes though.

Camera Gear - Anjuli recently got a new camera (Nikon Z7ii) with a couple of good lenses and a camera backpack to try out. We will see how we like it. Jordan claimed the old Nikon DSLR 7500. We also got a new Peak Design carbon fiber tripod to use hiking that is much lighter and easier to work with compared to the cheaper amazon tripod we had in the past. The last recent camera gear purchase was a Peak Design clip that goes on a backpack strap or belt that holds the camera and allows you to quickly unclip it. The base plate that fits the tripod also fits the clip which makes it super convenient.

GoPro - Easy to have in a pocket or clipped to the front of a backpack strap for quick access while hiking.

iPhones - Sometimes this is all we bring for taking photos and they are great.

Merrell - We all love Merrell hiking shoes and normal slip ons.

Smartwool - We all have several smartwool base layer shirts. Here are Anjuli and Jordan sporting the smartwool base layer - puffy vest combo.
