The Broad Cove (Eastern) side of the park had a lot more beaches, both rocky and sandy. The campground had a lot of empty spots and we had a huge area to ourselves. We were able to walk to the sandy beach. I also drove the RV for the first time down the road to another rocky beach where Jordan got to play with a lot of rocks and a playground.
Rainy days were a good time to hang out and watch a movie, or go play in the puddles if you are Jordan.
We did the middle head trail which was a nice easy hike with no significant elevation gain. It had a lot of nice rocky coast views and you go out on a long, thin peninsula with views all around.
On the drive home we repeated some of the same spots, including the fish at Saint John. Jordan also got to taste apple cider donuts for the first time on the final day drive. After washing off the RV from the trip, it got stowed away until the Fall when we traveled to Utah & Arizona, though that was not the original plan...
