We had a smooth border crossing with only a few standard questions. We drove about 3-3.5 google hours per day, which was very doable and left time to feel rested each day. We stopped at Saint John, NB, and got some amazing salmon. Again, Jordan experimented with where she could fit, this time under the stroller. We experienced eating lunch in the RV in a gas station parking lot, which was more homey and comforting than going into a fast food restaurant. Plus, private clean bathroom! The RV parks along the way had plenty of space and playgrounds which kept the munchkin as happy as could be.
We reach Cape Breton National Park, which was the furthest destination for the trip. We stayed at Cheticamp campground in the park and it was great - full-hook ups, big playground. We did a short drive and walked down to the rocky beach and along the shore to get acquainted with the area.
The next day we hiked the skyline trail, which had an amazing view at the end. Jordan rode in the backpack all the way to the end by the water. That is where The Tiny Photographer was born as she grabbed the camera and took aim. She did not capture an actual photo, but it planted a seed of intrigue in her mind. That was also the spot where The Tiny One Adventures logo photo was captured. She proceeded to hike herself up most of the numerous stairs up with a snack break to stop and enjoy the view. We then tested out the Trail Majik kid carrier (kangaroo pouch carrier that hooks onto a backpack) for the first time. It worked as intended, but attaching it to a smaller pack caused it to tug on my shoulders to an annoying degree after making it 20 minutes hiking up the steep part of the trail carrying her. Bruce then took back over with the backpack carrier and we had to flee the scene more quickly. The return part of the journey was longer along the coast and the tiny one requested to finish the hike more quickly.
We did a short walk to the gypsum mine quarry lake, which was a nice, super green lake. There were lots of tiny flies, which were annoying.
The last day we drove the skyline trail to the Theodore Fricker trail. The drive was beautiful with some nice pull outs. The hike was short, but very steep with loose rock at the final climb at the top. The view from the top was incredible though. Again, we had to flee back to the truck quickly. This time it was due to Jordan needing a nap as well as the throngs of mosquitoes.

Bruce finally got to have a big lobster meal, which he was very excited about. Next we moved on to Broad Cove campground on the other side of the park and got to drive the Cabot trail again, this time with the RV. Despite being steep in parts, the Ram handled it easily.
