Oops, forgot to post this one with the trip posts from Nova Scotia.
Since this was only our first trial at RV life, it served its purpose well. If this were a 2 week trip we were trying to do now though...
Longer and less drive days. We could have shortened each driving direction by a day to have more time at the destinations or to stop at the other sites along the way, like the bay of Fundy or Prince Edward Island.
Other people could probably get a reservation and do the drive up Cadillac mountain for sunrise in Acadia, but our truck is too long to be allowed up the road.
Stock up on more ice cream in Belfast. It's the best ice cream ever - Wild Cow Creamery, down by the harbor.
Bring less food with us. We brought enough for us to eat in the RV for the whole trip basically, but then with the border crossings, we had to make sure to eat certain items before crossing. We would have loved to eat more fresh fish that was available along the coast (Saint John salmon was awesome), but we had to eat our own food to not waste it.
Probably could have used another day or two at Acadia. We didn't research too much to do so we did everything we wanted at the time, but I'm sure there are other cool things to do.
