When she was in the routine of driving every few days, she did well and knew what to do. At the end, when we drove 7 straight longer days, it was too much for her the last day or two and she didn't want to get in her car seat. We would limit it to 4 consecutive drive days in the future, at most and only if necessary. And better yet, she could fly cross-country instead of driving, if able.
Baby hiking gear is well worth the baby cuteness and memories.
Baby hide-and-seek is hilarious, especially in an RV, especially with a baby that giggles the whole time while hiding.
Anything involving animals or swimming was a hit.
Doing things beyond our normal routine activities was always worth the effort, even if they didn't go perfectly.
