Things we would have done differently:
Bring a real generator. This might be obvious, but the solar generator did not work the greatest up in Alaska and caused us to have to move a night early a couple times. It was all good in the end, but would have be nice to not have that battery power pressure.
We skipped the cruise from Seward since we did the one in Valdez and didn't want to push it too hard with Jordan. Next time, we would definitely do both.
Probably 3 nights at Whittier. It was a cool campground and area. This was one place we had to leave early due to low power.
More days for the drive up and back. There were some cool places we could have spent more time (Muncho Lake, Liard Hot Springs, Kluane Lake, and Kluane National Park, Stewart to see Salmon Glacier).
Jasper National Park. We were supposed to go on the drive back, but couldn't because of the fires. Next time. This would have helped with the extreme driving on the way back too.
Another day in Talkeetna. The food was excellent and the view of Denali was great. It was a nice little town to walk around as the Fall weather hit.
