Acadia & Nova Scotia 2023

After our first attempted weekend trip ended about 20 minutes from home when the truck ceased to function, we decided to stick with a 2 week trip not toooo far from home for our first real RV trip. We visited AJ’s family in Belfast, ME, before heading to Acadia for a few days. From there, we took a few days driving straight out to Cape Breton National Park where we spent a week before heading home. Average drive times on this trip were about 3 hours (range 1.5-6 hours) as the google flies, but adding about 50% from start to end for stops and such. We limited the majority of days to 3.5 hours since we weren’t sure how Jordan was going to handle it, but she was an all-star. We tried to book full hookup campgrounds as much as possible while we learned how to travel in an RV and we kept plans to a minimum to learn how we liked to travel and explore.
